Cette page présente quelques projets réalisés par les élèves de la section CAP Signalétique & Décors Graphiques du lycée Le Corbusier de Tourcoing en PAO. Cette formation prépare les élèves à être de futurs techniciens dans les métiers de la signalétique et des décors graphiques avec une dominante en pose adhésive. La plupart des élèves arrivent après une troisième générale (entre 14 ans et 16 ans) sans connaître les logiciels PAO tels qu'Illustrator et Photoshop. Ils n'ont pas nécessairement une grande pratique informatique et graphique en arrivant au lycée. Pour cela ils ont 3 h d'informatique et 1 heure de graphisme par semaine. Le reste de leur apprentissage professionnel soit 14 h est orienté sur l'utilisation de plotter de découpe, d'imprimante numérique grand format et sur l'apprentissage des techniques de pose adhésive sur tous supports.
This page presents some projects carried out by the students of the CAP Signage & Graphic Decor section of the Le Corbusier high school in Tourcoing in PAO. This training prepares students to be future technicians in the signage and graphic design professions with a predominantly adhesive pose. Most students arrive after a third general (between 14 and 16 years old) without knowing PAO software such as Illustrator and Photoshop. They do not necessarily have a great graphic practice when arriving at high school. For this they have 3 hours of PAO and 1 hour of graphics per week. The rest of their professional training 14 hours is focused on the use of cutting plotters, large format digital printers and the learning of adhesive installation techniques on any medium.
Création d'un avatar. Les élèves ont réalisé leur propre avatar à partir d'un gabarit commun. Ce projet a débuté par une phase de recherches graphiques avec une proposition finale qui a été ensuite vectorisée à l'aide d'Illustrator. C'est souvent le premier projet créatif après avoir abordé les bases d’Illustrator tels que l'outil plume et Pathfinder.
Creation of an avatar. The students made their own avatar from a common template. This project started with a graphic research phase with a final proposal which was then vectorized using Illustrator. It is often the first creative project after addressing the basics of illustrator such as the pen tool and Pathfinder.
Projet de décoration d'un foodtruck. Après avoir pris les mesures réelles du véhicule, les élèves ont présenté une proposition décorative sur le thème de New-York. L'objectif était de réaliser ensuite une pose adhésive sur le véhicule à partir d'impressions numériques.
Foodtruck decoration project. After taking the actual measurements of the vehicle, the students presented a decorative proposal on the theme of New York. The objective was then to carry out an adhesive pose on the vehicle from digital prints.
En relation avec le programme d'histoire de l'art sur le thème de la Mésopotamie, les élèves devaient imaginer une signalétique pour les toilettes d'un musée ayant un secteur Antiquité, tel que le musée du Louvre à Paris. Pour la première étape, les élèves bénéficiaient d'une documentation composée essentiellement de sculptures Antiques Mésopotamiennes. Ils devaient s'en inspirer pour réaliser les silhouettes d'un homme et d'une femme sous forme d'illustrations au trait. Ils devaient ensuite simplifier et styliser leur premier croquis pour enfin géométriser l'ensemble. Avec la deuxième étape il devaient vectoriser la proposition géométrisée à l'aide d'illustrator avec l’objectif d’une pose adhésive sur plexiglass (à l'aide d'un plotter de découpe) et une impression en sérigraphie.
In connection with the art history program on the theme of Mesopotamia, the students had to imagine signage for the toilets of a museum with an Antiquity sector, such as the Louvre in Paris. For the first stage, the pupils benefited from documentation composed essentially of Ancient Mesopotamian sculptures. They were to be inspired by it to create the silhouettes of a man and a woman in the form of line illustrations. They then had to simplify and stylize their first sketch to finally geometrize the whole. With the second step, they had to vectorize the geometrized proposal using illustrator with a goal of realization in adhesive (using a cutting plotter) with a pose on plexiglass and a screen printing.
Projet de décoration des baies vitrées à l'entrée du lycée. A partir d'une documentation donnée, les élèves ont dû réaliser une illustration du portrait de l'architecte français Le Corbusier et d'une de ses architectures. La technique du clair/obscur était imposée. Les logiciels Photoshop puis Illustrator ont été utilisés pour ce projet avec une découpe sur Plotter pour une pose sur vitre.
Bay window decoration project at the entrance to the school. From given documentation, the students had to create an illustration of the portrait of the French architect Le Corbusier and one of his architectures. The light / dark technique was imposed. Photoshop then Illustrator software was used for this project with a cutout on Plotter for installation on glass.
Réalisation d'un trophée sur le thème de la santé et de la sécurité au travail. Recherche sur Illustrator puis découverte de la technique de la sérigraphie sur plexiglas grâce à l'atelier sérigraphie du lycée.
